Joe Lutz was Managing Director of Leon Capital’s Multifamily Group, reporting to the President and overseeing all Texas real-estate development investments. A results-driven leader with 20+ years of experience, he has managed projects from acquisition through completion and stabilization across mixed-use residential, office, retail, single-family-for-rent, and multifamily sectors—focusing the past decade on mixed-use residential development.

Previously, he served as Managing Director and Market Leader of StoryBuilt’s Dallas office (reporting to the CEO) and held leadership roles at Urban Offerings, GGP (now Brookfield), and Westfield.

Joe has served on the ULI Leadership Council, the Community Life Ministry Council and Parish Council at St. Monica, and the Knights of Columbus. He is a finisher of the 140.6-mile Ironman triathlon and is Founder and Chairman of Pathway to Peace: The Patricia and Jessica Lutz Foundation.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University, Master of Architecture from Clemson University, and Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.
